Jesus Bears Our Burdens
Let’s choose to trust Him with the heavy parts of life today.
Did you know that Jesus offers to help you carry life’s burdens?
He says, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you… For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
Jesus is saying that we can have peace when we trust Him to help us with the hard parts of life. Our all-powerful God will help us through every challenge we face.
I love the picture Jesus gives us of a team of oxen plowing a field. When we pull by ourselves, life is heavy and hard, but when we share the load with Him, He will take most of the weight, leaving us with a light load.
The more we pull in the same direction as Jesus, following His example and asking for His help, the easier life will be. Let’s choose to trust Him with the heavy parts of life today.
