This is hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau. Have you ever been asked to believe something that seems impossible? Maybe you've heard the story of Jesus being born as a baby, dying and then being raised to life. I wonder if you've ever thought that faith means shutting off your brain. Jesus never rejected honest questioning, even doubt. He met it with compassion. After Jesus rose from the dead, one of his own disciples, Thomas, struggled to believe that it really happened. In the book of John. In the Bible, we see that Jesus said to Thomas, put your finger here. Look at my hands. Believe. Questions don't scare him. In fact, they can lead you to deep faith as you seek his truth. You can simply pray and say, jesus, you know, I don't understand so many of these things, but I want to know you. Show me the truth about who you are. Fill me with faith and thank you. In Jesus name, amen. Always remember, there is hope with God.
Have you ever been asked to believe something that seems… impossible?
Maybe you’ve heard the story of Jesus, being born as a baby, dying and then being raised to life. I wonder if you’ve ever thought that faith means shutting off your brain.
Jesus never rejected honest questioning, even doubt. He met it with compassion.
After Jesus rose from the dead, one of His own disciples—Thomas—struggled to believe that it really happened. In the book of John, in the Bible, we see that Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, look at my hands. Believe!”
Questions don’t scare Him. In fact, they can lead you to deep faith as you seek His truth.
You can simply pray and say, “Jesus, You know that I don’t understand so many of these things. But I want to know You. Show me the truth about who You are. Fill me with faith. And thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Always remember, there is hope with God.
